Aparna Rao is most well known for her speech in interactive art installations and sculptures that play with the viewer's perception. The Indian born speaker specializes in creating interactive installations and electro-mechanical systems. Her clever and knowledgeable use of technology has allowed to create art work that have the power to recalibrate an individual's experience of the art work, and essentially deconstructs the viewer's perspective and interactions in a thought provoking manner.
Rao's art combines advanced technology with art, infusing playful and eccentric ways to create her craft. Rao attended the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India and also studied at the Interaction Design Institute. She is now part of Pors & Rao, a company that specializes in digital art and technology.
