Daniel H. Cohen
Philosopher and Professor
Professor Daniel H. Cohen has given keynotes on philosophy related topics, which is what he teaches. He's currently a professor at Colby College, which is where he received his B.A. back in 1975. Cohen also received a Ph.D from Indiana University in the early 80s.
Cohen specializes in Argumentation theory, which he has given keynotes on, Philosophy of language and Metaphors, among other things. Some of Cohen's publications include 'In Search of the Wild Paradox', 'On Counterpossibles' and 'Argument is War.. and War is Hell.'
Daniel H. Cohen believes that there are benefits to non-combative argument. He rejects the notion of a loser in an academic debate because the so-called loser is actually the one gaining a new perspective.
