Jack Tretton's keynotes highlight the technological advancements of console gaming.
As the President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA), a subsidiary of Sony Corporation, Tretton is the primary head of the United States market for Sony PlayStation. Earlier in his career, Tretton served as the Vice President of Sales at Activision and as a General Manager of JVC Musical Industries’ game division. Tretton has more than 30 years of consumer product experience with most of those years directed towards the videogame industry.
When he joined Sony Corporation, Tretton became of the individuals that founded the PlayStation. He later became a part of the development and publishing of the PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 game consoles, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Move, and PlayStation Vita.
He was awarded the Sega’s CD Game of the Year Award for two years in a row, when he employed at JVC. Tretton graduated Providence College with a degree in science.
