Jane ni Dhulchaointigh
Jane ni Dhulchaointigh's persistence keynote, talks about the journey her invention has led her down, and the important lessons she learned along the way which helped her to stay motivated.
She is the inventor of Sugru, which is a self-setting rubber product that is used for modifying things around the house. Her idea came to her when she was studying product design at the Royal College of Art in London in 2003, six years of hard work paid off for her and she has been named by TIME magazine as one of the top 50 Inventions of 2010. Surgru was also named as one the 50 winners of Britain’s New Radicals, which acknowledges people and product who are changing the UK.
Her spirit and passion for creating a simple, yet household-altering product, is inspirational and teaches people to see the bigger picture, as oppose to the end goal.
