After high school, Bewkes pursued a post-secondary education at Yale University where he received his BA. He then attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he earned his MBA. Before joining the corporate management division at Time Warner, he serves as the COO and President of HBO from September 1991 to May 1995. He officially joined Time Warner in 2002.
