Treasure received a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge. His career started in the publishing industry, where he served as advertising and marketing managers for a few years. In 1988 came his big break as he secured the position as Chairman at TPD Publishing. He stayed in this post for 13 years before becoming the Chairman for The Sound Agency in 2004. He is currently still at The Sound Agency.
