Kenneth Cukier

Data Editor of The Economist

Kenneth Cukier is the Data Editor for The Economist, who often presents data-related keynotes. Cukier was previously a research fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He was also previously the editor of The Wall Street Journal Asia. Earlier on, he was a European editor of Red Herring.

In 2013 Cukier co-wrote a book called 'Big Data: A Revolution That Will Transform How We Live, Work, and Think.' In Cukier's data focused keynotes, he discusses the datafication of personal thoughts, social interactions and professional credentials. Cukier talks about social media networks such as Twitter and LinkedIn. He also discusses the benefits of datafication.

Kenneth Cukier is also on the board of directors of the International Bridges to Justice, based in Geneva.
