The Makenna Lenover talk on feminism demonstrates the commitment and passion the high school senior has for human rights. A student at Salisbury High School, the speaker performed at the educational institution's Tedx event three times. At school she serves as the president of the National Honor Society as well as the Model UN. Upon graduation, she hopes to study archaeology in college.

The founder of her own charitable organization, Little Known Help Zone, the speaker focuses on Central American charities addressing poverty by working in local communities and provide relief. She also has a hobby in music.
