The Mary Roach keynotes give educational but simultaneously entertaining overviews of our biological sexual behaviour.
Roach graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Psychology. She started her career however in the San Francisco Zoological Society where we was a writer, drafting press releases for the ongoing developments in animal health. She then wrote for a slew of magazines including Vogue, The New York Times and Reader's Digest by contributing humorous first-person essays.
Roach has also authored four books, drawing from her scientific background in Psychology, including 'The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex' and her most recent 'Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void.'
The Mary Roach keynotes are a head-on exploration of the functions of an orgasm.
