Keynotes by Nicole Kuepper are focused on the proliferation of solar energy and ways by which to extend this technology to those in low-income communities and the developing world.
The accomplishments in the solar energy sector by the Associate Consultant at Bain & Company earned Kuepper a spot on the list of 'Sydney’s Top 100 Most Influential People' in 2008 and the 'Tom Harvey Award for Citizenship' in 2010 from the Australian Youth Trust.
She is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and holds a BEng in Photovoltaics and Solar Energy and Physics as well as an Engineering Ph.D. and has been engaged in the solar energy field since graduation.
Ever since receiving a solar-powered toy car from her parents as a child, she has been interested in the potential that the sun holds as a renewable energy alternative. Her time at both the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy and AusAID allowed for her to spend time developing new strategies for harnessing and using solar energy and has since become a main component of her public keynote addresses.
