Oprah Winfrey’s keynotes are a true reflection of the inspiration she has provided to millions of people throughout her career as a talk show host, philanthropist, actress and producer. Born Oprah Gail Winfrey, she attended Tennessee State University, where she studied communications, in hopes of pursuing a career in radio and television broadcasting

Ten years before Winfrey landed her gig as the host of the Oprah Winfrey Show, she worked as a news anchor and reporter for a station in Nashville. The Oprah Winfrey Show, which ran for 25 seasons, is the highest-rated and most watched talk show in American television history. Using the leverage of this success, Winfrey has founded three foundations including The Angel Network, The Oprah Winfrey Foundation and the Oprah Winfrey Operating Foundation. The projects and accomplishments of these foundations are often the focus of Oprah Winfrey’s keynotes, which have been presented to post-secondary graduating students.

Today, Winfrey serves as the CEO of the Oprah Winfrey Network.
