The Pamela Slim talk on work explains how you can find purpose in your career in a world that is experiencing a startling amount of change. Passionate about connecting people, the professional speaker also works as a business coach. She spent 10 years consulting big businesses including Hewlett-Packard and Cisco Systems.

In 2005 she founded the blog Escape the Cubicle Nation, enabling her to help hundreds of entrepreneurs launch successful companies. She is also an award-winning author. In Spring 2009 'Escape from Cubicle Nation: From Corporate Prisoner to Thriving Entrepreneur' was published and won 900 CEO Read's Best Small Business/Entrepreneur Book of 2009. Her second book 'Body of Work' contains some of the information discussed in the Pamela Slim talk, such as the skills needed for people in the corporate world to non-profits.
