Pico Iyer is a professional travel writer who writes and gives speeches on the topic of culture mixing. Iyer formerly taught writing and literature at Harvard University. Since 1986 Iyer has been a travel writer for Time Magazine. He's also known to contribute articles to other big publications such as Harper's and The New York Times.
Iyer has written numerous books including 'The Recovery of Innocence' which is a collection of essays about American literature, 'Falling off the Map: Some Lonely Places of the World' and 'The Global Soul: Jet Lag, Shopping Malls, & the Search for Home.'
Iyer attened Oxford University before he began his teachings at Harvard. Iyer has lived all over the world, from England and America to Japan.
