Rachel Simmons is the author of two best selling books; Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls, and The Curse of the Good Girl: Raising Authentic Girls with Courage and Confidence. She is also an educator and an international volunteer striving to reduce bullying and empower girls and young women.
After graduating, Simmons co-founded the Girls Leadership Institute. As an experienced curriculum writer and educator she works with schools and organizations around and hosted the PBS television special, "A Girl's Life".
Rachel Simmons regularly gives talks at high schools and universities to students about the psychological impact of bullying.
