The Reshma Saujani talk about bravery discusses female empowerment and being fearless. The American politician is the CEO and Founder of non-profit organization Girls Who Code, which aims to close the gender gap in the predominately male technology sector. The movement allows girls to develop computing skills that will give them more opportunities through summer camps and clubs nationwide. This is discussed at length in the Reshma Saujani talk.
Prior to founding Girls Who Code, the speaker worked as an attorney and activist. She was the first Indian American woman to run for the US Congress in 2010. She also gained experience as Deputy Public Advocate in New York City.
The speaker is also the author of the book 'Women Who Don't Wait In Line.'
