Sheikha Al-Mayassa earned her B.A. in political science and literature from Duke University, and was a delegate to the 2001-2002 Model United Nations. She created the NGO Reach Out to Asia that provides quality education to natural disaster victims in Asia. She is the chair for the Qatar Museums Authority and the Doha Film Institute.
