The Tracey Chambers talk is on her work helping women and mothers become self-employed and financially independent.
The Wynberg Girls High School alumna was educated at the University of Cape Town, receiving a Bachelors in Communication and Chartered Accountant designation. The speaker worked in the business world for 20 years. She gained experience by holding a number of different roles at Woolworths over a period of nine years -- five of which were spent as Head of Finance.
In 2010 she founded The Clothing Bank. The Tracey Chambers talk shares the story of how she left the corporate world in an effort to find her purpose and empower South African women. Considered one of the best examples of sustainable business development in the country, the organization is dedicated to inspiring and training impoverished women.
