Angela Ahrendts

CEO of Burberry

The speeches by Angela Ahrendts discuss the ways Burberry has implemented a social media policy and how, in doing so, has enhanced the brand and consumer experience. Angela became an employee of Burberry in January of 2006, and within six months became its CEO. Since joining the Burberry team and directing its leadership, Angel integrated social media into its marketing strategy, creating a one-of-a-kind, all access online pass for consumers.

Angela demonstrated a keen interest in advertising and marketing from an early age. After high school, she earned a degree in Merchandising and Marketing from Ball State University. Merging her educational background and passion for fashion, she began a career in the fashion industry. She worked as the President of Donna Karan International for six years and then at Liz Claiborne, where she served as the Executive Vice President.

The speeches by Angela Ahrendts highlight the many ways social media and the 'social revolution' enhanced Burberry as a brand and reached out to a larger clientele.
