Bryant Terry
Keynote Speaker Videos on Trend Hunter

Activist

These Bryant Terry speeches confront the injustice that is inherent in one of America's most prevalent issues. The activist believes that every citizen has a right to proper, healthy nourishment, no matter one's socio-economic circumstances. And yet, despite his admirable views, the nation has become witness to an unjust distribution of food.

Terry's interest in nutrition began at the Xavier University of Louisiana where he completed an English degree with honors. He continued his studies at New York University history department, eventually attaining an M.A. With those two designations under his belt, he went to pursue the chef's training program at the National Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts.

Bryant Terry's speeches go hand in hand with his success as a writer. In 2006 his book 'Vegan Soul Kitchen' was released, followed by his 2009 co-authorship of 'Grub: Urban Ideas for an Urban Organic Kitchen,' also known as the 2007 winner of the Nautilus Award for Social Change.
