The Jonathan Schooler keynotes explore the power of philosophical positions to affect human behavior.
Schooler earned a bachelor's of arts from Hamilton College before obtaining a Ph.D from the University of Washington. He joined the University of Pittsburgh immediately afterwards as professor for almost 20 years. He joined the University of British Columbia in 2004 as a psychology professor.
Schooler is a fellow for the Exploratorium Science Museum and the Association for Psychological Science. He has written several papers and was the editor for the Scientific Approaches to Consciousness.
He is currently a professor at UC Santa Barbara.
