Political Activist

The Larry Lessig keynotes dive into the ever-controversial topics of copyright, trademark and the legal restrictions surrounding these issues. Lessig is known as an American academic and political activist who is on a mission to have the legal restrictions on copyright and trademark.

Lessig is exceptionally accomplished in the academic realm, having earned over four degrees including a BA in economics, a BS in Management (both at the University of Pennsylvania), an MA in Philosophy and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School. Two years after receiving his law degree, he became a Professor at the University of Chicago until relocating to teach at Harvard.
