Leanard Brody's keynotes speak to the highly relevant topics of social media and the evolution of digital technology today, drawing from his own deep experiences in the online world.

For somebody who graduated from Queen's University with an Arts degree, then attended Osgoode Hall for law school and finally finished off at Harvard Business for the Private Equity Course, it is unexpected that this individual would be deeply immersed in the digital world. His initial roles at Onvia Canada as a Board Director and at Marqui as Chief Advisor earned him acclaim as both companies received awards recognizing their new presence in the technology industry.

In 2005, he co-founded NowPublic.com, a crowd-sourced news platform and served as co-CEO for five years. During this time, he took on many other roles, such as a Venture Partner at Growthworks Capital and President at Clarity Digital.

A year ago he founded GrowLabs, a venture capitalist firm seeking out the top Internet entrepreneurs in the world today. He has written books on being a success in the business world, one being 'The Innovation Nation: Canadian Leadership from Jurassic Park to Java.'
