Michael Porter's keynotes discuss the importance of being business-savvy. These skills are widespread and include creating an environment within a corporation where ideas can flourish and excellence can grow.
As a graduate from Princeton University, where he graduated with high honors in aerospace and mechanical engineering alongside his B.S.E. in 1969, Porter has had a distinguished academic and business career. Porter later went on to attend Harvard Business School where he received high distinction in 1971 and was a George F. Baker Scholar. His Ph.D in Business Economics was attained from Harvard University in 1973.
Porter has gone on to author 18 books and many academic articles that have been featured in the Harvard Business Review, the New England Journal of Medicine and Strategic Management Journal among others.
