She began her career in business journalism in 1978 at Forbes. She was a Public Policy Fellow at Radcliffe College.
In 1990, she received the Medal of Italy award for her work in diagnosing worldwide trends. She authored the New York Times Bestseller 'Megatrends 2000' and recently released 'Megatrends 2010.'
