He worked his way up, becoming a sommelier at Michel Richard CITRONELLE and eventually a Fine Wine Specialist at the Henry Wine Group before becoming a regional manager at Langdon Shiverick Imports. He gained brand development, sales and marketing experience as a fine wine wholesale distributer at 55 degrees and sales manager at Cutting Edge Solutions. He went into business for himself in 2009 founding Ampelography. He has also worked as a wine writer for the Toledo Free Press.
