Shatte has given over 1000 keynote speeches to corporate audiences, and is also part of the Brookings Institution where he delivers speeches to large-scale audiences such as the Homeland Security, the CIA and Department of Defense. From 2000 to 2006 Shatte was an Assistance Professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and in that time he was awarded as the best professor by the students in 2003 and he also received the Dean’s award for distinguished teaching in 2006. In 2002, Shatte co-wrote a book titled ‘The Resilience Factor,’ which was released by Random House in 2010.
