As a neuroscientist at the Baylor College of Medicine, one might think that presentations by David Eagleman are opaque and hard to understand. Though the focus of his study is undeniably involved, Eagleman's talents as a communicator allow him to articulate his subject matter in an easily understood manner.

Ever eclectic, Eagleman earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University in British and American literature. He later went on to recieve his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine. After this, he took up a postdoctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute.
