CEO, Co-Founder at Ecovative Design
The Eben Bayer keynotes examine the resourceful potential that organic entities have. In particular, Bayer discusses the use of mushrooms in order to replace the use of environmental harmful plastics and packaging materials like Styrofoam.
Currently, Bayer is the CEO and Co-Founder at Ecovative Design and has worked tirelessly with his team to create alternative resources that will benefit the planet. Recently, Bayer became the co-inventor of 'MycoBond,' an organic alternative to packing materials and insulation. Prior to this position, Bayer worked as an engineer at Applied Research Associates designing production equipment. In terms of his education, Bayer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Innovation from the Renseselaer Polytechnic Institute.
By replacing harmful materials with natural means, the Eben Bayer keynotes advocate for an eco-conscious and environmentally aware society by providing the tools that will help maintain a sustainable planet.
