The Ekateryna Nova talk on inventions is on how universities need to reflect our changing world with more multidisciplinary programs. Currently a politics and economics researcher with the AMS Impact Grant, the former student graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a BA in political science. As mentioned in the Ekateryna Nova talk, the speaker has held 11 jobs in her life, further outlining the changing career paths people in our age take.
Previously, she gained experience as a fundraiser and canvasser for Vision Vancouver and an assistant coordinator of graduate studies at the UBC Faculty of Law among many other short contract positions. The self-described video game addict and fashion and tech enthusiast will likely take on many more positions throughout her worklife.
