Co-Founder and Chief Technologist at Flibe Energy
The keynotes by Kirk Sorensen discuss a naturally occurring fuel called thorium that could enable self-sustaining communities on the moon. Kirk Sorensen has found a safer and cleaner energy source that is more efficient and cheaper.
Kirk Sorensen earned his bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering at Utah State University, and his master's at Georgia Institute of Technology. He was an aerospace engineer at NASA for 10 years, and a chief nuclear technologist at Teledyne Brown Engineering. He currently works at Flibe Energy where he is the co-founder and chief technologist.
The keynotes by Kirk Sorensen describe the potentials of thorium, and share the self-sustaining properties and perks. This portable energy source has huge potential to revolutionize nuclear fuel.
