Meg Jay's speeches showcases the changing social norms in young adults. Dr. Jay is a clinical psychologist whoses studies with regards to young adult life have brought her recognition.

Her 15 years of experience with young adults has made Dr. Jay an expert with regards to the behavior of young adults. She's often noted that one's twenties are a crucial developmental stage for young adults that they need to better understand.

Dr. Jay served as a research associate for the Mills Longitudinal Study, a study that analyzed female adult development. She was a fellow for the American Psychoanalytic Association, the Center for the Study of Sexual Cultures and the Robert Stoller Foundation.

Dr. Jay received her B.A. with High Distinction in psychology at the University of Virginia. She then earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Jay currently supervises students in clinical psychology at the University of Virginia.
