Prior to his current position, Biddle worked General Electric and Cummins Engine Company. In terms of his education, Biddle earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louiseville and his Ph.D in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He was also a Sloan Fellow who graduated from Stanford Graduate School of Business's Executive MBA program with a Masters in Management Sciences.

As a result of his tireless work bettering the environment, Biddle received the 'Thomas Alva Edison Award for Innovation' and the 'Intel Tech Museum Environmental Award.' He was also the recipient of the 'Most Promising Presenter Award' at the CleanTech Venture Forums. With over 50 papers and presentations on the topic of plastics recycling, Biddle is a passionate advocate for an environmentally friendly alternative.
