The Walter Hatch talk on East Asia and Japan's foreign relations showcases the speaker's extensive knowledge on politics in the area. The Associate Professor of Government at Colby College primary teaches East Asian politics. He works in affiliated departments such as International Studies and East Asian studies. His areas of expertise include the politics and economy of Japan, Japan-United States and Japan-Asia relations and comparative regionalism and regionalization.
